ROY VINCENT BIGLER, age 58 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday evening. Born in Canton he was a 1973 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Kent State University and the Perkins School of Piano Tuning and Technology. Roy was the Assistant Director for the Gallery East at Cuyahoga Community College. In addition to curating many outstanding shows, Roy was an artist in his own right. He was an activist for environmental and social concerns. Roy was a gentle soul. He was preceded in death by his father Roy Oliver Bigler. Roy is survived by his mother Josephine (Dastolfo) Bigler of Canton, sisters and brother-in-law Joy (George) Norris of Groveport, OH, Jeannie Tuber of Powell, OH, one younger brother and many dear friends and relatives. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home (730 30th St. NW, Canton) with Memorial Services to follow at 4 pm, Pastor Jeff Shultz officiating. Respecting Roy's wishes he will be cremated.
