Ruth M. Halbouty age 83 of Canton, passed away Wednesday, December 28th. Born in Canton to the late Michael J. and Sadie (Betar) Halbouty, she was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Ruth retired from Stark County Job and Family Services after 30 years of service. She was a former member of Holy Cross Orthodox Church and current member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Funeral service will be Monday, 11:00 am, at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church with Very Rev. Fr. Michael Corbin officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ruth's name may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. A special thank you to her caregiver Michelle Oboyle and staff for all their loving care.
