Obituary

Sally A. Morgan, age 89 of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2026 with her beloved granddaughter, Lyndsey, by her side. She was born in Canton on November 24, 1936 to the late Kenneth and Susan (Kastner) O’Brien. A life-long resident of Louisville, she had been member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was a 1954 graduate of Louisville High School where she participated as a cheerleader and was well liked. Sally was a dog lover and she also enjoyed crafting, walking, spending time outside, gardening and growing houseplants.

Above all, she loved taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson, whom she adored. Family was the center of her world and she enjoyed attending thier activities and was proud of their milestones and achievements. Also important to her was the day-to-day family time spent together. Most recently, watching her great-grandson, CJ, grow from a baby to a toddler brought her endless joy and happiness.

Sally is survived by her children Jeffery Morgan, Jennifer (Curt) Bailey, and Melissa Morgan; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her much loved sister, Marie O’Brien. She was preceded in death by sisters Ann and Patricia.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the employees of Crossroads Hospice and The Inn of Whitewood Village who gave Sally wonderful care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
