Salvatore Paul Gambone, age 77, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 16, 1949, Salvatore was the son of Paul V. Gambone and Ann (Conde) Notturno. Known to most as Paul, he lived a life defined by hard work, integrity, and devotion to his family and community. As a prominent local business owner in Canton, Paul was deeply respected for his entrepreneurship, leadership, and dedication to his community.

Paul was best known for his sharp mind and trademark quick wit, always bringing laughter to those around him. He was a passionate and unwavering fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and his beloved Cleveland Browns, rarely missing a game. Above all, Paul had a profound love for dogs and cherished the companionship of his canine friends throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jill (Balcarcel) Gambone; his children, David, Michelle, Christopher (Amy), and Francesca (George) Schrock; his cherished grandchildren, Seth (Jen), Madison, Kylie, Isabella, Alessandra, and Vincenzo; and his adored great-grandchildren, Nora, Jack, and Archer. He is also survived by his brothers, Mark and Tim Gambone; his sister, Deb; and holds a special place in his heart for his niece, Gabriella Balcarcel. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30th St NW, Canton, OH).
