Samuel Melon Todd passed away on September 13, 2025 in Canton, Ohio surrounded by his family. Born on April 19, 1939 in New Brighton, PA. He was the child of Frank M. and Sarah Jean Todd. Sam had five siblings. Jane, Bobby, Larry, Barbara, and Jeff.

Sam was educated at Warren G. Harding High School, Youngstown University and later joined The Marine Corps. He married Carolyn Zoba on April 20, 1964 in Warren, Ohio and shared 63 years of marriage. Sam loved playing golf, reading the newspaper, and enjoyed watching his kids and grandchildren participate in sports year round. He was an original member of Eagle's Pride for GlenOak High School. He was also a member of Congress Lake and Skyland Pines where he enjoyed playing golf.

Sam is survived by his wife Cathy and four sons. Sam (Laurie), Chris (Elizabeth) Tom (Julie), and Mike ( Kazmiera). There will be no funeral services at this time.
