Sandy J. Fire, age 88 of North Canton, passed away early Saturday morning. Born in Canton to the late John and Josephine (Lombardi) Fire he was preceded in death by his first wife Frances (Elfante), second wife Barbara (Berner), and sister Mary Fire. He retired in 1982 from the Timken Roller Bearing Company after 39 years of service. Sandy was a 50 year member of the F.O.P., lifetime member of the N.R.A., and the A.B. C. He was an avid bowler, hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his son John F. Fire, grandchildren Jennifer, Alexander, John F. Fire II and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held.
