Sherri Lynn Gore, age 65 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024. A life resident of Canton, she was a 1977 graduate of Perry High School where she was on the National Honor Society and excelled in volleyball. Sherri was employed with Aultman Hospital since 1979 and has been part of the North team for several decades, most recently as a lead registration clerk.

She was preceded in death by her mother Marianna (Marchinsky) Gore, and dear friend Michele Orlando. Sherri is survived by her father Donald E. Gore, siblings Suanne (Dale) Pettit, Donald A. Gore, John G. (Linda) Gore, Ronald A. Gore, dear friend Janine Orlando. Also survived by ten nieces and nephews Frank (Heather) Smith, Michael (Jen) Smith, Kristin M. Smith, Amanda (Billy) Johns, Bryan J. Gore, Alyssa M. Cross, Donald F. Gore, Andrew D. Gore, Jordan M. (Keian) Gore-Hardy, and Matthew J. Gore; and nine great-nieces and nephews Kelcy N. Linville, Madison M. Linville, Cameron J. Linville, Zion Smith, Alivia A. Smith, Dillon K. Fulton, Calob W. Johns, Mykia M. Johns, Nora Sherri Hardy.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and on Monday from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Services to follow at 12 noon in the funeral home., with Pastor Brian Ziegler and Pastor Brandon Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
