Shirley A. Lupe, age 71, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was the daughter of Glen C. and Dorothy A. Nelson Bowden, born on October 8, 1949, in Canton, Ohio. Shirley was a 1967 Canton McKinley High School graduate and worked as skilled legal secretary and administrative assistant. Her many talents included music, art and decorating. She was also a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Parish.

Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers Dr. Thomas A. Martin, William W. and Glen R. Bowden. Cherishing her memory is her sister Gwendolyn and husband James Miller, nephew and nieces James and Christina Miller, Dorothy and Royden Kern, Katherine Miller, her beloved and cherished "second family," the Lupe family, valued right hand Kathy Moretta, two great-nephews, three great nieces, as well as many relatives and friends not mentioned.

Visitation will be held at St. Anthony/All Saints Parish at 1530 11th St. SE Canton, Ohio on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Reception after at Bravo Restaurant, Canton, Ohio.
