Shirley R. (Hall) Monaco, age 80 of Canton, passed away early Friday morning. Born in Canton to the late Edmond J. and Josephine R. (DelRe) Hall, she was also preceded in death by her husband Bernardino "Benny" Monaco, daughter Lori, and sister Delores Long-Wilson. Shirley was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School and a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Parish. She was a retired nurse's aid, having worked 27 years for Timken Mercy Medical Center. She is survived by her daughter Josie Monaco of Canton, son Vince (Sheryl) Monaco of Trabuco Hills, CA; grandsons Ben and Tony Monaco; brother Howard (Marilyn) Hall of East Canton, and special friend Joe Barnett. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony/All Saints Parish with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski as celebrant. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
