Shirley J. Johnson, age 80 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born in Clay County, West Virginia on October 20, 1938. She spent most of her life in the Canton area; Shirley had dedicated her entire life to her "boys," and always enjoyed gardening in her spare time. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Bernard Johnson, infant daughter Leslie, and sister Ann. She is survived by her children Laura (Bill) Gartner of Canton, Michael Johnson of Canton, David Johnson of Uniontown, and Kevin Johnson of Canton. Also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Monday at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
