Sophie (Kafides) Marion, age 80 of Louisville, passed away Sunday evening . Born in Canton to the late Gust and Grace (Longwell) Kafides, she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Embrose, and brothers John, Harry and Sam Kafides. She is survived by her husband Kenneth R. Marion, Sr. with whom she would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in October, children Kathy (Steve) Dimos, Kenneth R. Marion, Jr., Keith (Deborah) Marion, six grandchildren; Philip, Angela and Nicole Dimos, Abbagail, Carley and Halee Marion, brother Alex Kafides and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff of Roselane Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Also thanks to Aultman MICU staff for their support. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with a Trisagion Service to be held at 7 pm . Private funeral services will be held. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Sophie's name may be made to the Koraes Ladies Society, c/o Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4705 Fairhaven Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709 or the American Heart Association.
