TED A. ZIMMER, age 54 of Massillon, passed away Saturday afternoon. Born in Canton to the late Homer and Meta (Bopa) Zimmer he was a 1977 graduate of Perry High School. Ted worked for many years in automotive sales before starting his own business, Zimmer's Quality Flooring, specializing in flooring sales and installations. He enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Erie in his dad's vintage Lyman boat. Ted is best known for his quick wit and entertaining personality. He is survived by his son Dustin Zimmer, daughter Karen Zimmer, brother and sister-in-law Rodney and Kathy Zimmer, sister and brother-in-law Suzanne and Joseph Meyer, nieces Jennifer, Patrice, Kristina, Stephanie and Nicole, aunt Bette Conley, numerous cousins and many friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home with services to follow at 7 pm, Deacon David Conversino officiating.
