Terry L. Lanzer, age 84 of East Canton, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024. Born in Canton to the late Arthur T. and Minnie H. (Tanner) Lanzer, he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra H. (Mirto) Lanzer, and brothers Jerry, Glenn, and Arthur Lanzer. Terry was a 1958 graduate of Canton South High School. He retired from Republic Steel Corporation, as a crane operator, after 40 years of service. Terry enjoyed golfing, bowling, and a good margarita. He is survived by his children David (Michelle) Lanzer, Randy (Debra) Lanzer, Theresa Decker (Matthew Rastetter), Terry Jr. (Heather) Lanzer, grandchildren Derek Decker, Abigail Lanzer, and lifetime friend William "Bud" Hanlin who was his brother from another mother. Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 11:00 am, at Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Terry's name may be made to Hospice of Stark County.
