THELMA R. (FIELDS) BARDIN, age 82 of Canton, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening. Born in Elk Park, North Carolina to the late Cecil and Ruby Fields she was preceded in death by her husband Lester J. Bardin, sister Helen Barber and brother Charles Fields. Thelma lived most of her life in the Canton area. She retired from Timken Mercy Medical Center as a surgical technician. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law John Bardin of Columbus, OH, Gregory and Rhonda Bardin of Florida, Bradley and Tammy Bardin of Mogadore, OH, daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and J. Rob Carder of Atlanta, GA, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and brother James Fields of Canton. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Edward Stafford officiating. Internment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
