Thomas "Opa" Competti

Thomas "Opa" Competti, age 84 of Louisville, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Dennison, Ohio, to the late Vincento and Carmella Competti, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jamie Gabrielle in 1995, son, Thomas in 2003, and wife, Ann in 2013 who he loved to travel the world with, along with 4 siblings, Margaret, Delia, James, and William. An area resident since 1963, he was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish of North Canton and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by children, Jim and Rashawna Competti of Columbus, Linda and Daniel Zust of Richfield, and Ramona and Jim Blankenship of Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Daughter-in-law Deborah Competti of Canton, 10 grandchildren; Daniel, Lindsey, Emily, Allison, Zachary, Thomas, Ashley, Jimmy, Epris, and Lauren; 4 great grandchildren, Isabella, James, Zaiden, and Isaac, and sisters Irma Biancamano and Norma Gurklis. Family and friends will be received on Sunday (Today) from 2 to 6 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 1:00 pm at St. Paul Catholic Parish of North Canton. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
