Thomas E Kiko, 81, of Canton, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born July 29, 1945, in Canton, to Russell and Coletta Kiko. Thomas is survived by his child Andrew (Helen); grandchildren Zachary and Hailey; sisters Margery and Bertha; brothers Daniel, James, Joseph, Eugene, Russell Jr. and John. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Colleta; sister Wanda; and brothers Billy, Richard and Fred.
Tom had a deep appreciation for numbers, a passion that began during his childhood growing up on the family farm in Canton, where he was always an entrepreneur at heart. After graduating from Walsh University in North Canton, with a degree in accounting, he worked for several companies before joining Kiko Auctioneers and Realtors as an accountant, where he remained until his retirement in 2013.
Retirement didn't mean slowing down for Tom. He continued doing what he loved by tutoring individuals in mathematics as they prepared for their GED exams, sharing his knowledge and helping others achieve their goals.
Tom became a proud grandfather in 2007, a role he cherished deeply. He loved watching his grandchildren participate in sports and following their educational journeys as they grew. He never missed an opportunity to share with others how they were doing and what new accomplishments they had achieved. His pride in his grandchildren was evident to everyone who knew him.
Tom was a devoted supporter of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #15458. And anyone who knew Tom knew he could never pass up a good candy jar—especially if it was filled with chocolate!
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Lung Association or Walsh University (www.walsh.edu), as these are organizations Tom supported.
