Vasilios Konstantacos, age 87, of Canton passed away Monday morning. Born in Kastoria, Greece to the late Anastasios and Eleni Konstantacos, he was preceded in death by sister Katarina Papamarkou and brother George Constantacos. Vasilios was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. He was the owner of Progress Tailors and Cleaners for 50 years, retiring in 2011. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Violetta (Soukari) Konstantacos, children Taso Konstantacos, Elaine (Mite) Ristev, Chris (Merita) Konstantacos, Kathy (Dimitri) Pollalis, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Fani Englezou and brother Konstantine Konstantakos and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home in Canton (Trisagion service at 7:30 pm), and Thursday morning from 9 to 10 am at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am, Rev. Fr. Basil Shaheen officiating. Interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
