Viola Spera born April 30,1921 age 94 passed away Sunday, Oct. 18 at St Joseph Care Center. Our family lost a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She made the best meatballs, pizza and pizzels and leaves her family with wonderful memories. She enjoyed bowling and dancing at Meyers Lake Ballroom to the Don Clivi Orchestra. Vi was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years James Spera. Parents Alfred and Carmela Verno, brother John Verno, sisters, Mary Cartechine, Julie Keszeg , Peg Clouse, Angie Farber, and Millie Garrini. She is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in -laws and their families, Jeffery and friend Mary Kay Barnes, John and Barbara both of Canton, OH, and Jim and Dianne of Denver, CO. Her grandchildren Brooke and fiancée Joe Monnot, Danielle Spera and Lynndon Wentzel , Jodee and Dan Haber, and Andrew and Erin Spera. Vi enjoyed the antics of her three great-grandsons Keanan Spera, Henry Haber and Max Spera. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 12:00 noon at Christ the Servant Parish, Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. Entombment will be in North Lawn Cemetery Masuoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Viola's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
