W. Edith (Rorrer) Starner, age 74 of Canton, passed away Sunday. Born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Charles and Elizabeth Rorrer she was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters. An avid softball player, she was played on a number of championship teams. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Steve Portilla, grandchildren Marcus and Ryan Portilla, brothers Bobby Rorrer, James Rorrer and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will be received on Friday from 1:00 to 1:30 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at the Sunset Hills Burial Park New Mausoleum Chapel at 2:00 pm.
