Wilbur Neil "Butch" Olmstead age 82 of Canton, passed away Monday. Born in Louisville, OH to the late Melvin and Olive (Knouff) Olmstead, he was the owner of American Demolition, and loved nothing more than working with his "guys". Butch was an Army veteran and life member of the American Legion Post #44. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Vanthia (Proios) Olmstead, sister Gladys Pennix, son Shaun Olmstead, stepson Anthony (Kendran) Gattuso. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Butch's name may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
