William E. Gurganus, age 60 of North Canton, passed away Wednesday evening. Born in Akron to the late William and Mary (Ford) Gurganus, he was a 1972 graduate of Hoover High School. Bill loved music and was a very talented musician, playing with several area band, most notably The Gangsters and The Icemen. He is survived by his wife Christine Gurganus, sons and daughter-in-law James W. and Ari'elle, Steven J. Gurganus, five grandchildren; Kobe', Caedence, James, Izabella, Battle, brothers and sisters-in-law Patrick and Linda, James and Joan Gurganus, and ex-wife Jodie Clark. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with Memorial services to follow at 8:00 pm. Respecting Bill's wishes he was cremated.
