William "Bill" John Meaden, age 63 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 due to complications of ALS. He was born in Cleveland on March 10, 1960 to William and Mary Meaden. A graduate of North Royalton High School, he later retired from Ironwokers Local #17 of Cleveland.

He leaves behind his high school sweetheart, and wife of 17 years, Kristen Bates Aylward; bonus sons Joseph Aylward of Columbus, and Michael (Ally) Aylward of Mentor; and granddaughter Josie Aylward. Also survived by brother Mark (Nancy) Meaden; sister-in-law Jill Bates; niece and nephew Kelly and John Meaden; and his special dog Lil Red. There are too many friends to list or count, as Bill never met a stranger. His smile will never be forgotten or replicated.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Following the service, friends are welcome at the Imperial Room (420 Court Ave. NW Canton, OH 44702) for snacks and refreshments.
