William A. Logothetis, Age 65

William "Bill" Logothetis, of New Philadelphia, Ohio died suddenly on July 12, 2016. Bill was born to Michael and Marie Logothetis on August 2, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio. Bill served honorably in the Navy and received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Kent State University. He spent his career in psychiatric social work, most recently retiring after many years of service with Mercy Medical Center, Canton, Ohio. With his work, Bill truthfully spent his life helping others. He had a kind heart and was always considerate of the interests of others. In addition, he really loved animals. Bill is survived by his only sibling, brother Sorrell Logothetis, Dayton, Ohio, and Sorrell's spouse Margaret; his niece Jennifer Brown, Upper Montclair, New Jersey; his nephew Michael Logothetis, Dayton, Ohio; and various cousins including Theo Karfes, Grove City, Pennsylvania and Dr. Frank Karfes, Cleveland, Ohio. Friends will be received by the family at the Rossi Funeral Home, 730 30th Street, N.W. Canton, Ohio, during the hours of 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2016, with a memorial service by Father Dan Rogich at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or any charity of one's choice.
