William (Herman) Wesley age 90, went home to be with his Saviour on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at The Inn at Whitewood in North Canton, OH. He was born in Canton, OH on January 3, 1933 to the late John and Ethel Wesley. He was a graduate of Washington High School and a veteran of the Army, having served in Germany. In 1958, he graduated from Massillon City Hospital as a Registered Nurse.  He worked in the V.A. Hospital System in Ohio, Iowa, and Florida.  He was a devoted Christian and a member of Morning Star U.H.C. Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Mercer) Wesley, sisters, LaVaye Thomas, Mary Barkley, brothers, Ervin Wesley, Darnell Wesley, Raymond Wesley.  He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Frank) Slocum, and sons, Gerald (Netsai) Wesley, Herman Jr. (Katrina) Wesley, 3 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Homegoing Service will be Friday, November 24, 2023 at Rossi Family Funeral Home at 11:00am.  Bishop Michael Clemmons will officiate.  Calling hours will be 10:00am.
