Yenovefa (Papadopoulos) Yamakides, age 96 of Canton, passed away early Friday morning. Born in Amasia, Turkey to the late Christos and Melpomene (Voulgarides) Papadopoulos, she was preceded in death by her husband George, seven siblings including Kleoniki Karasarides and Efrosini Spontyl who lived locally. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 to 11 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am, Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (4705 Fairhaven Ave. NW, Canton,OH 44709).
