Yolanda (Betro) Frustaci. Age 95 of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018. Yolanda was born on January 17, 1923 in Canton. She married her husband Anthony on July 6, 1946. Yolanda treasured the time she spent with her family and loved hosting traditional holidays at her home. Her hobbies included cooking and playing bocce on summer leagues. She was a member of the Sons of Italy and the St. Andrea Women's Club. Yolanda volunteered numerous hours at the Italian Festival each year. She was a member of the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband Anthony B. Frustaci; parents Joseph and Mary Betro; in-laws Andrea and Marianna Frustaci; brothers Andy and Nick Betro; and sisters Antoinette Rea and Marianne Pileggi. She is survived by her daughters Vickie (Jim) Bergeman of Port Clinton and Mary Ann Frustaci of Canal Fulton, sister Josephine Alessandro of Canton, and brother-in-law Ben (Pat) Frustaci of Maryland. Yolanda is also survived by grandchildren Jessica (Jim) McClure, Melissa (Matt) Mitchell, Robert Fonte (fiancé Jessica), Joseph (Melissa) McClellan and Julia (Sean) Cilona. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Lydia and Juliana McClure, Luke and Ryan Mitchell, Luca and Marco Cilona, and Maxwell McClellan. She will be truly and greatly missed by them and by many special nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, in Canton, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 :00 noon at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist in Canton, with Very Rev. Fr. John E. Sheridan, STL as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
