Yolanda T. (Magisano) Pergola age 82 of Canton, was called home to be with the Lord early Monday morning. She was born on May 6th, 1935 in Canton to the late Frank and Mary (Carioti) Magisano, she was preceded in death by her sister Ann Miller, brother James V. Magisano and niece Debbie Tabellion. She was a 1953 graduate of McKinley High School. Retired from Stark County Child Support Enforcement Agency in August, 1999. Yolanda was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lolita Pergola, sister-in-law Dolores Magisano, and many great nieces and nephews. She was a very loving mother and friend to many. She enjoyed going out to lunches and dinners with her family and very special friends. Honoring Yolanda's request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. G. David Weikart celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boys Town (Saving Children, Healing Families).
