Yolanda M. "Yo" (Mangina) Mulig, age 90, of North Canton, passed away Wednesday afternoon surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 26, 1924 in Ellwood City, PA, she was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Emilia (DiLeonardo) Mangina, husband Frank Mulig, sister Mary DelPozzo, brother Robert Mangina and grandson Paul "P.J." Schumacher. After graduating from North High School in Akron, she went to work at General Tire & Rubber as an Export Traffic Clerk from June 1943 to July 1950. Upon raising her four children she returned to work managing LaVerne's Bakery in Canton until taking a position in 1974 with the Suarez Corporation from which she retired as operations manager in April 1992. She was a member of Christ the Servant Parish and the Women's Guild. She is survived by her children Gregory Mulig of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Cynthia "Cis" (Gary) Schumacher, Alice (Tom) Brinza, Dennis (Tami) Mulig all of North Canton, six grandchildren: Jay and Jeff Schumacher, Emily and Lindsey Carr, Melanie and Michael Mulig, great grandson Cohen Plottner and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9 to 11 am at Christ the Servant Parish (Our Lady of Peace Church) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am, Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
