Zackary Lee Abel age 20 of Canton, passed away early Thursday morning at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Paoli, Indiana he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Susan and Robert Baum and cousin Steven Baum. Zack attended Glen Oak High School where he loved his teachers and friends. He loved bowling with the Stark Strikers and playing in the Challenger Baseball League (his nickname was "Kong"). His favorite things to do: listening to the SpongeBob ending theme song on his laptop, playing Mario Kart and Mario Party with his family, playing Little People with his brother Jacob, guitar, basketball, and running in races. He loved his cats very much. He attended Camp Quality Ohio, and touched many lives. Zack was a strong, exceptionally brave person during his illness. He loved Jesus, his family and being home more than anything. He was our precious light, and will forever be in our hearts. We will always love him,and he was a gift to all who met him. He is survived by his parents Eric and Carolyn (Baum) Abel, brothers Noah and Jacob, paternal grandparents Marilyn Wininger and Stanley Abel, aunts Kerri Kimble, Shawna (Shane) Morris, uncles Bob (Lenora) Baum, Ken (Holly) Baum, Todd Baum, Steven (Mariebele) Baum, James Abel, and numerous cousins and companions. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with Memorial services to follow at 5 pm, Pastor Randy Shafer officiating.
