Abigail Gabehart left us suddenly and without our permission on May 9, 2020, to be with God. Abby was born in Orlando, Florida on May 5, 1974. She is survived by her husband and best friend, James Gabehart, and by her children, Zachary James, Lillian Jane, and Samuel Dale Gabehart. James and Abby were married for 25 years, and she considered the most important things in her life to be God, her husband, her children, her home, and her extended family. Abby is predeceased by her grandparents, Leo and Sally Maurer of Barberton, and Dale and Evelyn Hossler of Canton. Also preceding her in death were her uncle and aunts, Anthony Maurer, MaryGrace Cameron, Melissa Jamison, and Shirley Maurer. Abby also leaves her parents, Dale and Sara Hossler of Canton, and James’ family in Oklahoma, including his parents, Linda and David Jackson, sisters Jennifer (Kenny) Mincher and Joanie Gabehart, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Abby is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in the Maurer families, Allen family, Pramik family, Hossler family, Jamison family, Cameron family, White family, and Brewster family. Abby was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and friend. She dearly loved her family and friends (especially Angie) and we hope she will be remembered for her loving spirit, slightly warped sense of humor, and willingness to help everyone. Per Abby’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a Going Away party for family will be held at a later date. May God bless you and keep you, Abby. We will love you forever. Abby would want all of you to take someone you love to Dunkin Donuts.
