Anne (Magnan) Karatjas, age 95 of Canton, passed away peacefully at home early Thursday morning. She was born in Warm Springs, Georgia to the late Henry Lee and Annie (Davis) Magnan. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Anne worked with her husband at Leo's Market and later at Leo's Lake Cable Carri Out until 2007. She was the charm that kept everyone coming back. It was clear to everyone that her family and friends were her priority. She made everyone feel special. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Leo Karatjas Sr., son Leo Jr., and infant daughter Betty Kay Karatjas. Anne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rena and Bill Miller, daughter-in-law Becky Karatjas, granddaughters Lindsay (Justin) Miller and Caitlin (Brent) Boyle. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with services to follow at 11a.m., Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
