Anne Lenartowicz Obituary

Anne M. (Kulich) Lenartowicz

October 4, 1927—July 7, 2021

Anne Lenartowicz, age 93 of Canton, passed away in her home on Wednesday, July 7, surrounded by the love of her family. Anne was the matriarch of her family that she so deeply loved. She was a pillar of strength, had an undeniable sense of wit, and remained mentally sound through life’s journey.

Anne was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, traveling to many states, where she was “Grandma” to everyone. She was a mastered seamstress and an amazing cook. She loved watching her game shows and playing Keno became her favorite entertainment.

The second oldest child of six to the deceased Nicholas and Mary Kulich, she was the first to marry and the first to have a child. She married Victor Lenartowicz on May 28, 1949. He died May 26, 1988, two days before their 39th wedding anniversary. They were blessed with three children, who survive: Jimmy Lenartowicz, Denny (Stella) Lenartowicz and Janis (Bud) Baker.

Grandchildren: Josh (Jacie) Lenartowicz, Michael (Camille) Lenartowicz, Chadd (Mari) Lenartowicz, Stacy (Scott) Daugherty, Aaron (Brajena) Lenartowicz, Taylore Baker, Tatum Baker, Hillary (Kenny) Johnston, BJ (Danielle) Baker.

Great Grandchildren: Zavior, Brody, Kinsley, Payton, Sheldyn, Landon, Everett, Carter, Brooke, Maya, and Colton.

Preceding her in death are her sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen Kulich, Mary Jane (Bob) Capello, Dorothy (Nick) Venuto and her brother, Bill Kulich. Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Patty (Chuck) Marcelli and sister-in-law, Margie Kulich.

A sincere thank you to Sue Weaver for providing kind, compassionate care and her nurses, Joyce and Bonnie of Aultman Hospice and their staff —the family will be forever grateful.
