Antonio Frustaci, age 82 of Canton, passed away early Sunday morning. Born in Sant' Andrea, Italy to the late Vincenzo and Caterina Frustaci, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Rose (Carubia) Frustaci and sister-in-law Gina Re. Antonio came to Canton in 1957. He retired from the Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. Tony invested in rental property and was the co-owner of Frustaci Italian Grocery Store with his brother Ben. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish and the Sant' Andrea Society. Antonio is survived by his children Cathy (Steve) Altieri, Vincenzo Frustaci, Alfonso Frustaci; grandchildren Antonetta, Grayson, Eberlee; brothers and sisters Benedetto (Linda) Frustaci, Annina (the late Carmen) Papelo, Marcello (Barbara) Frustaci, Mirella (Frank) Procopio; brothers-in-law Gino Carubia, Pietro (Sharon) Re; and many nieces and nephews. Private family services were held and entombment was in Calvary Cemetery.
