Betty D. (Jacobs) Kester

Betty "Dolly" Kester age 93 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, March 6,2021. Born in Canton to the late Steven and Tessie Jacobs. Betty was also preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Kester, her two sons Steve Jacobs and Ross Jordan, her sister Jean Scrima, her brother in-law Louis Scrima. She is survived by nieces Becky Slingluff and Elizabeth Amireh, her great niece Ashley Novak and great nephew DJ Amireh.

She was a proud 1946 graduate of McKinley High School and later was a supervisor of the Ohio Bell Telephone Company for 29 years. Dolly's hobbies included golf and was a member of the Antique Car Club. She also enjoyed her second home in Sarasota Florida. She was a member of the Church of the Convent where she met her husband Don Kester.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, March 16th at 11:00 am at Rossi Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted for the Stark County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
