Bonnie A. Dunnerstick, age 72 of Louisville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born in Canton on June 28,1950 to John and Sarah (Bird) Davis and graduated in 1968 from Canton McKinley High School. Bonnie went on to further her education at Bethel College in Indiana where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education, and a Masters in Administration from Kent State University. Her entire educational career was spent in Canton City Schools, retiring after 33 years in the classroom. Bonnie is preceded in death by her father John Davis, husband Stan Dunnerstick, and brother Wayne Davis. She is survived by her mother Sarah Davis; children Stacy (Michael), and Ryan (Samantha) Dunnerstick; partner of 21 years Bryan Schaffernocker; step-sons Cory (April), Shane, and Curt (Krystal) Schaffernocker; grandchildren Emery, Miles, and Ryder; brothers Dennis Davis and Kim Davis; and her grandpup Piper. Bonnie had a special, upbeat energy about her to bring life to the party. She always came prepared with jokes, riddles, and trivia questions, complete with prizes such as a roll of toilet paper for the winner! Bonnie's favorite past time was hanging out with her family, especially the grandkids, through cookouts, camping adventures, and mystery trips. She found joy in raising chickens, playing the piano, relaxing on the beach, fishing, and eating her favorite seafood, oysters on the half shell. Bonnie will be deeply missed. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery.
