Cheri Bimm, age 72, of Canton, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021.
“God saw her getting tired, and a cure there was not to be, so He put His loving arms around her, and said, “Come to me…”
Now she’s in the peaceful presence of our loving savior and truly missed here on earth. Preceded in death by her husband (James Bimm), both parents (Carl Edward Long and Dorothy Malone Campbell), in-laws (William and Jean Bimm), sister (Sheila Osborn), brother (Darrell Long), and nephew (James Osborn). Beloved family she leaves behind and cherished - Son, DeWayne Chessman (Rebecca Chessman); two grandsons - Dillon and Ryan Chessman Daughter, Ramona Chessman-Lapp (James Lapp); five grandchildren - Callie Bell Tootle-Cramer (Raechelle Tootle-Cramer), Christopher Wright (Morgan Wright), Justin Novak, Nicholas Novak, Samantha Lapp; and one great grandchild – LillyAnne, Stepdaughter, Kristi Comstock; three grandchildren -Tiffany Tackett (Matt Tackett), Allison Comstock (Jon Dembski), Robbie Comstock; and six great grandchildren - Makenzy, Gaven, Madilyn, Remi, Annabelle, Vincent, and many other beloved family members including sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at First Baptist – Canton at 4110 – 38th St. N.W. Canton, Ohio 44718 with Pastor Kevin Thomas officiating. Guests may visit 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. The service will follow at 12:30 pm.
A committal ceremony will take place at 11:15 am on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery where her earthly remains will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Jim, and their furry friend, Carson.
