Christopher Frank Paxos, also known as Chris by many, a long-time business entrepreneur, and a lifetime resident of Canton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of October 13th, 2021 at the age of 49, at his residence.
Chris is survived by his parents Nick and Linda Paxos, his brother Mike and sister-in-law Maria, his spouse Elaina Fanno, his children Allison, Christina, Niko, Angelina, and Isabella Paxos, nephew Nick and niece Alexia Paxos, and the mother of his children, Leslie Paxos.
Chris was born in Canton, Ohio on July 18th, 1972 to Nick and Linda Paxos. He graduated from GlenOak High School in 1991, and continued his education at Akron University to earn a degree in Polymer Science, and did his graduate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Chris started his own company at the age of 22 where he earned the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award. In his later years, he became an avid entrepreneur of many businesses.
Chris was a devoted father, spouse, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed traveling the world while meeting new people. Chris was a very hard worker who would accept any challenge thrown his way. One of Chris' favorite things to do was to help the world become a better place and to change people's lives. He enjoyed watching each of his children grow and succeed in their very different ways and was so proud of his family. Chris enjoyed his family traditions, such as going out to dinner and on family vacations.
Family and friends will be received at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday, October 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
