Cleopatra Vlahos, age 94 of Canton, passed away Tuesday evening. Born in Canton to the late James and Clara (Ratalle) Vlahos, she was preceded in death by her infant son Peter Basiakos, sister Annastasia Coobatis, and brothers George, Nick and Harry Vlahos. Cleo was a 1945 graduate of Canton McKinley High School. She was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, Ladies Philoptochos Society, and the Telephone Company Pioneers. She retired in 1983 after 30 years of service with Ohio Bell. Cleo was an avid bowler, member of three card playing groups, enjoyed slot machines, and playing bingo. She is survived by her sister Catherine (Sam) Demos, sister-in-law Bessie Vlahos, godson Nicholas Rustifo, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services were held at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church and interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
