Dawn L. (Firestone) Pegg

Dawn L. Pegg, age 80 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born in Canton on January 10, 1941 to the late Calvin and Leona (George) Firestone. She was a 1959 graduate of Glenwood High School. Dawn worked for Beaver Excavating Company and retired in 2002 Labors Local 1015. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, National Society Daughters of the American Colonists, and the Plain Township Historical Society.

Along with her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her step-brother Charles Firestone. She is survived by the love of her life William Lough of Canton; children Keith (Kristy) Pegg of Canal Fulton, Jeff (Ginny) Lough, Shawn Lough, and Shelly (Alan) Rinehart all of Canton; brother Marcus (Lisa) Firestone of North Canton; and sister Linda Scott of Louisville, Kentucky. Also survived by nine grandchildren Caden Pegg, Kinley Pegg, Sarah (Tim) Mix, William Lough, Charlie (Tabby) Brown, Rusty Lough, Lucas Lough, Emily Rinehart, and Chad Rinehart; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Monday morning from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow in North Lawn Cemetery.
