Esther Jeanne (Beck) Mohr

Esther (Jeanne) Mohr, age 96, residing in Louisville, OH (formally of Canton) passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2023. Jeanne was born on May 14, 1926 in Canton, OH to the late Ralph and Esther (Rauschenbach) Beck. She resided in Canton until 2011 when she moved to Louisville to live with her daughter Cathy. She was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School, class of 1944. Retired from A&P Supermarket and K-Mart after 23 years of work. Jeanne and her late husband, Lloyd (Fritz) were married for 62 years before his passing in 2009. They loved polka dancing and saving the neighborhood cats. Jeanne is survived by her daughter Cathy (Dan) Bowman. Grandchildren: Bud Myers, Jr., Shelly (Mike) Baumgardner, Bob Myers, and Jaime (Chris) Selander, and Steve Bowman. Great-grandchildren: Carlee (Daniel Lee), Mikey Baumgardner, Ashley Jones, Keri Myers, Hunter Selander, and Katelynn Selander. Four great-great grandchildren. Sisters-in-law Belinda Mohr, and Annette Beck, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Fritz Mohr, parents Ralph and Esther Beck, siblings: Ralph Beck, Jr., Warren Beck, Mark Beck, and Donna Baderscher. She was a member of the American Legion Post 548 and the Louisville Christian Church. Graveside services will be Monday11:00 am at Sunset Hills Burial Park with Pastor Rick Brown performing the eulogy. We will miss you Mom and Grandma!! Together again – Dancing with Dad forever now!!
