Gasparino Settimio Obituary

Gasparino Settimio age 92 of Canton, passed away January 2, 2021. Born in Canosa Sanista, Italy to the late Antonio and Maria (DePalmo) Settimio, he was preceded in death by his brother Sabatino. He was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish and the I Gagliardi Italiani. He retired from the Timken Roller Bearing Company in 1994 after 20 years of service. Gasparino is survived by his wife of 67 years Nicoletta (Cantoli) Settimio, sons Antonio, Bruno (Regina), Robert (Holly), and Danny (Sharon) Settimio, grandchildren Michael (Christina) Settimio, Nicole (Michael) Schade, Ashley Settimio (fiancee John DeVisser II), Sarah (Chad) Cline, Greg Settimio, Michelle (Byron) Wingate, nine great grandchildren; Mason Cline, Olivia, Emily, and Anna Schade, Anthony and Gabriel Settimio, Alexa, Natalie, and Tyler Wingate, sister-in-law Lucy Settimio, niece Maria (Chet) Halasinski, nephew Antonio Settimio, and daughter-in-law Deborah A. Settimio. DUE TO COVID COMPLICATIONS THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS OR FUNERAL MASS. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
