John Paul Jandura, 82 of Canton, died May 22, 2021. God graced our world July 8, 1938 when born to John & Elsie (Tisevich) Jandura. John graduated from Timken Vocational HS taking an apprenticeship with Timken Company. John’s heart called him in a new direction which led him to Kent State University to become a teacher. He dedicated 32 years to the children in Canton City Schools as a teacher/coach where he met his beloved Tootsie. Jan&Tootsie had 5 girls (with one favorite) into which he instilled his wisdom & jovial sense of humor. After retiring in1992 he devoted more time for woodcrafting/carpentry creating memorable pieces for friends and family to enjoy. He loved basketball, golfing, fishing, hiking, bowling, billiards also supporting college sports especially The Ohio State University! Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by daughter Lisa Jandura-Marzetti & sister Jane Cruz. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Carolyn; daughters Christine (John) Minock, Michelle (Iggi) Dulzaides, Suzanne Jandura & Kathleen Fleming. Also survived by sister Sally Milligan, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home Friday, May 28 from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Mass will be Saturday at 10:00AM at Christ The Servant Parish burial following in Forest Hill Cemetery.
