Kiriakos “Chris” Symeonides loving father, Papou, brother, and uncle, passed away on June 2, 2021 at the age of 54. He was born to the late Christos and Stella (Shiepis) Symeonides thousands of miles away in Tanzania, Africa, and later settled in Canton, Ohio. After graduating from McKinley High School, he spent some time in the Army and was honorably discharged. He worked many odd jobs, but had a way of being good at most anything he tried. His favorite time spent was outdoors. Chris was known to have a green thumb and loved flowers, plants, fishing, and being in nature. He had a big heart and saw the best in those around him.
He is survived by his two children Amanda (Zach) Miller and Christos; two grandsons Gavin and Trevor; three sisters Eleni (Tony) Granitsas, Georgia Fallenstedt, and Joanna Fronimopoulos; and a large extended family. Private funeral services have been held. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
