Lillian Boyajian Obituary

Lillian Mary (Guidone) Boyajian “Lil” Age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 27, 2021. Lil was born on March 7th 1932, in Wellsville, Ohio to Sabatino and Esther Guidone (Ciprian). She was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Lil married John M. Boyajian on, August 20th 1955. She was a member of St Paul’s Catholic Church in North Canton.

 

Lil was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for making fudge at any hour of the night and was always willing to bake cookies for her kids and grandchildren. Lil loved to sing, and often sang throughout the day at home. She had an infectious laugh and will be remembered by all she met and deeply missed by those who loved her.

 

Preceded in death by her parents Sabatino and Esther; husband, John M. Boyajian; brothers, Frank Guidone, Julius Guidone, and Samuel Guidone Jr. sisters; Mary Gialluca, and Anna Carozzi.

 

She is survived by her three children: Cindy (John) Berbelis, Danny Boyajian, Gina (Tony) Schultz. Grandchildren; BJ Boyajian (Dustin), Becky (Gregg) Hammerton, Jonathan Boyajian, Matthew Boyajian, Carly (Dan) Pollock, Hannah (Zach) Miklosy. Great grandchild; Jacob M. Bowling. Sisters; Helen Gialluca, Genevieve Stimer, brothers; Paul (Kack) Guidone, Gene (Dorothy) Guidone, and John (Michelle) Guidone, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
 

Per Lil’s request, private services were held. Interment followed at North Lawn Cemetery where she was laid to rest alongside her husband John. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Windsor Medical Center for the wonderful care and kindness they provided for Lil and Crossroads Hospice for their compassion and comforting words.
