Marcie L. (Pitinii) Stanley

Marcie Lynn (Pitinii) Stanley, age 61 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. She was born on August 1, 1960 and later became a Special Education Teacher in the Warren City Schools, Vermillion City Schools, Youngstown City Schools and retired from Cleveland City Schools. She was also named Teacher of The Year in the State of Ohio. She later became an Administrator for the Summit Academy in Canton. Marcie was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Daughter's of Penelope. She was preceded in death by her father Nick Pitinii. Survived by her mother Stella Pitinii; son Alexander Pitinii; brother Rick (Missy) Pitinii; nephew and niece Niko and Sophia; and numerous cousins.

Family and friends will be received at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Interment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
