Mary B. (Rampi) Bernardo

Mary B. (Rampi) Bernardo age 98 of Canton, passed away Thursday evening. Born in East Canton to the late Nunzio and Carmella (Buffo) Rampi, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Dominic Bernardo (1999), twins son Rick (1996) and Mike (2017) Bernardo, brothers Anthony Catalano, Joseph, John, Louis, and Patrick Rampi, sisters Clara Jacobsen and Rose Gialluca. Mary was a graduate of Timken Vocational High School, member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, member of Dorcas Women's Sewing Club, Mother of Twins Club, and the Canton Jaycee's. She loved to play bingo. Mary is survived by her daughter Debbie (Tim) Compson-Yingling of Canton, daughter-in-law Wandalee Bernardo of Atlanta, Georgia, grandchildren Jon (Kim), Dominic (Christina), Sara (Daniel), Nina, five great grandchildren, sister Lena Melito, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. PRIVATE family services will be held on Monday in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Connor Hetzel officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary's name may be made to The Inn at Belden Village Special Care Unit. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice and The Inn at Belden Village for their special care of Mary.
