Mary Frances Foraker, age 76 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. She was born in Canton on December 28, 1943 to the late Anthony and Josephine (Scozzarella) Mucci. Mary graduated from Canton South High School in 1961, worked as executive secretary at First National Bank in Canton and became a realtor for Boebinger Realty in 1977. Mary joined Coldwell Banker Realty 2008 became a multi-million dollar producer and was awarded top producer with many President awards. Mary was the President of Woman's Council of Realtors in 2017, Member of the Year in 2019 and the President-elect for WCR 2020 and served on numerous state committees. While she excelled at real estate, her passion was modeling and retail. Over the course of her career she modeled for The Parisian, Stern & Mann's, and Dillard's while she managed numerous departments for Sears and retired as an executive manager in 2008; Mary was a professional make-up artist and avid modeling instructor with Sherry Lee Modeling, was the secretary of the Shrine Village Association and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, where she was active in various St. Michael retreats.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert of Canton; children Rob (Kelly) Foraker of Berea, and Robynn Foraker of Cuyahoga Falls; three grandchildren Dominic, Robby, and Julia. Also survived by brother Tony (Rose Mary O'Hara) Mucci; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony/All Saints Parish, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Kraszewski as celebrant. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
