Ramiz Adib Bcharah,

(March 20, 1956 – July 29, 2023)

beloved son, brother, father, and entrepreneur,

fell asleep in the Lord on July 29, 2023, at the age of 67.

Ramiz was born on March 20, 1956 in Jdaidet Artouz, Syria to the late Adib and Wedad (Nakhleh), and preceded in death by his oldest brother Mouafaq and his wife Manar. He is survived by his son Ramiz S, his sister Terese, his brothers, Ghassan (Malakh), Ibrahim (Samira), Samer (Rouba), and Iyad, along with many loving nieces and nephews.

Ramiz graduated top of his class from the Faculty (Department) of Art, University of Damascus, specializing in interior design. He started his hard work journey in Syria then continued to follow his big dreams in the US. Gifted and talented as he was, Ramiz excelled in different fields. He was an artist who painted numerous portraits and participated in many exhibitions, a musician and a singer who formed a western band (well-known in Damascus in early 80s), a professional cook who ran several restaurants in Syria, Venezuela, & the US, and a very capable home renovator who, by his creative eye and skillful hands (painter, carpenter, plumber, gardener, and interior designer), left behind so many well designed and beautiful homes, finding immense joy and fulfillment in this pursuit.

Family and friends will be received on Friday August 4, from 10:00 – 11:00 am

at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. (1118 Cherry Ave. NE Canton, OH 44704).

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am with

the Very Rev. Fr. Michael Corbin officiating, assisted by the Very Rev. Fr. Basil Shaheen.

Interment will follow in North Lawn Cemetery (4927 Cleveland Ave. NW Canton, OH 44709).
