Rodolfo Vincenti
Rodolfo M. Vincenti, 88, of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home on May 31, 2022 after a courageous battle with mesothelioma. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years whom he adored, Carmela (Mandarano); devoted son Claude; cherished daughters Sylvie and Nadia and his beloved grandchildren Sophie and Alex. Born in Marseille France in 1933, Rudy immigrated to the United States in 1967 with his family settling in Canton, Ohio. While deprived of a formal education growing up in World War II Europe, Rudy learned at a young age numerous skilled trades and the value of hard work which helped define the person he was. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Canton as well as owning his own construction company. Rudy had many passions including furniture making, gardening, wine making and especially making charcuterie. Family and friends were the fortunate beneficiaries of these passions and of his generosity. He relished Sunday meals with family and friends, and to him friends were family. He had a great love of animals and enjoyed travel. But by far his greatest passion in life was his family especially his grandchildren whom he was so proud of. To summarize what a person meant into these few words is very difficult. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed and what he meant to all of us. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30th St. N.W., Canton, OH 44709) on Friday from 10 am to 12 noon with services to start at noon. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery to follow.
