Ronald Castenze Musacchia, age 85 of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. He was born in Brewster, Ohio on August 6, 1936. He was a USAR veteran and attended St. Clement Catholic Church. Ronald later retired as a self-employed contractor. He had a passion for woodworking, was a jack of all trades, and loved playing poker with his friends. Ronald also enjoyed singing, as he was part of the Barber Shop Quartet, Music Aires, the Hospice Choir, and made his stage debut in 2019 in “Little Women” playing the part of Grandpa. He was also big on recycling. He started recycling before recycling was a thing.
Ronald was preceded in death by his first wife of 33 years and the mother of his children, Mary Kay, his parents Bruno and Millie (DeAngelis) Musacchia, sister Vicki Colucy, and great-grandson Lucas. He is survived by his wife Patricia Musacchia; children Therese (Jimmy) Penland, Jim Musacchia, Laura Musacchia, and Mike (Holly) Musacchia; step-daughter Deb Darcy; grandchildren Steven, Jamie, Josh, Cassondra, Jimmy, Christina, Emily, Blake, Frankie, Isaac, and Rob; great-grandchildren Maximus, Matias, Avery, Lila, Eli, and Morgan. Also survived by brother Joseph (Emmy) Musacchia and sister Rita (Mary Burns) Musacchia.
Family and friends will be received at St. Clement Church at Holy Family Parish in Navarre on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m. A Memorial Mass will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Inurnment will at St. Clement Cemetery.
